Swansea Bay Futures Ltd has been set up with the aim of 'Promoting the Swansea Bay region as a place to live, work, study, invest in and visit'. The company also offers help to companies of all sizes to connect you to the right people and organisations and to support recruitment and relocation activity.
Swansea Bay Partnership
Swansea Bay Partnership operates to make sure that business thrives in the long term in South West Wales. Made up from public sector bodies and private partners, who together have a deep knowledge and understanding of the potential and opportunities across Swansea Bay, the partnership works on behalf of established, expanding and new businesses and aims to to help you flourish, whatever your sector demands.
Welsh Assembly Government
The Welsh Assembly Government is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Wales, including the economy, health, education, and local government. With a regional office in Penllergaer, Swansea, they have staff who can advise on grants and planning a new business development or expansion. WAG also provide funding for dedicated business services including Flexible Support for Business (FS4B) (below)
FS4B
FREE to new and existing businesses, Flexible Support for Business provides a 'single gateway' service for businesses seeking help or support. It provides detailed, IMPARTIAL information about support available from the public, private and voluntary sectors to businesses of all kinds.
Dragon Innovation Partnership Project
A collaboration between Swansea Metropolitan University, Swansea University, and Trinity College Carmarthen which aims to maximise opportunities for transferring knowledge and expertise between the institutions and external companies.
