It can be quite shocking to realise how little people who haven't visited the area know about what it's really like here. Their perceptions of the area are that it is industrial, old fashioned, built up and dirty... although friendly too. We know that - apart from the 'being friendly' bit - none of that is true of Swansea Bay today.
We're keen to challenge these misguided individuals and companies - to show them the stunning scenery, to highlight the modern and dynamic city and the wide range of businesses growing here, to shout about the amazing range of outdoor activities that can drive the adrenaline levels and keep you fit and healthy, to profile the exciting cultural and sporting scene that can be enjoyed here... and to make them wish that they too could enjoy Swansea Bay for themselves.
Word of mouth is one of the strongest ways we have of getting messages across, so encouraging people like yourself who are proud to have a link with Swansea Bay to tell and show others what's here is a vital part of our strategy for improving perceptions and awareness of Swansea Bay.
