In December each year the Western Mail publishes its Top 300 Businesses in Wales.
To compile the Western Mail Top 300, The University of Glamorgan in association with Deloitte, carry out research and measure Welsh companies by their annual turnover.
In total, 42 companies based in Swansea Bay appear in the list, 10% more than in 2008; a great achievement considering the turbulent economic backdrop over the past 12 months.
