The Lower Oxford Street area study, presenting a framework to guide regeneration in the area, will be available for viewing in the Grand Theatre foyer, Swansea from the 9 November to 20 November 2009.
The Study, commissioned by the City and County of Swansea in partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government, was undertaken by Powell Dobson Urbanists and concluded earlier this year.
Whilst recommendations from the study have been accepted in principle by the City and County of Swansea and the Welsh Assembly Government, they are not fixed and will be used to inform future design proposals.
Members of the public are invited to comment on the 'regeneration framework' by attending the exhibition and leaving comments on the forms provided.
Projects are likely to be phased over a period of years to minimise the impact of construction works.
Potential projects will be delivered by the City and County of Swansea and the Welsh Assembly government in partnership with property owners and occupiers.
Projects may benefit from the recently announced Waterfront City ERDF grant approval, put in place to regenerate Swansea City Centre and guided by the City Centre Strategic Framework. Further details can be found on www.swanseacitycentre.com.
