The stunning Yas Hotel has a 217m sweeping, curved steel frame which contains over 5,300 pivoting illuminated diamond-shaped glass panels and can be seen for miles around.
The architecture embodies key influences and inspirations from ancient Islamic art and traditions, melded with the artistry and geometrics associated with speed, movement and spectacle. And its visual impact is all made possible by leading-edge LED technology provided by Enfis.
Local temperatures can reach 60°C in the summer and the Enfis solutions were the only ones to pass the rigorous environmental chamber trials and actually exceeded the specification necessary to operate at extreme ambient temperatures.
The lights offer a 4.2 billion colour palette, and provide limitless shades and colours via two-way communication providing real-time monitoring of fixture temperature, colour and energy consumption.
