Mother and daughter team, Cynthia and Olivia Calvert took a trip from Texas and found Wales to be the 'perfect place' for a family reunion.

Writing for Texas newspaper, The Tribune, the duo describe their week in south Wales, documenting the fantastic range of hotels, restaurants, museums, castles and food producers that they experienced along the way.
In Carmarthenshire they visited Carreg Cennen Castle, describing it as 'the ultimate romantic ruin' and Llanelli, which was home to Olivia's ancestors.
In 'fun and lively' Swansea, they stayed at Morgans Hotel and visited the Dylan Thomas Centre, pausing to admire the marina and waterfornt before they headed home.
Cynthia said: "Swansea is a vibrant happening place and we would return here in a heartbeat."
