Award winning Fairyhill Hotel, near Reynoldston, in the heart of the Gower Peninsula has been the hotel of choice for famous names like Paul Newman and Joanna Woodward – who visited when their son was marrying a local girl. Tony Blair also stayed here whilst Prime Minister.
Before Catherine Zeta Jones had a more permanent residence here, she and Michael Douglas used to stay at Morgans Hotel in Swansea’s Maritime Quarter….a popular choice with many other famous names visiting the area. - The area has some great places to camp - Nicholaston Farm in Penmaen was named in the Guardian as one of the 100 best places to camp in the UK in 2011.
