Morgans Hotel

Morgans Hotel

From charming country cottages, to national chain and boutique hotels, superb bed and breakfast accommodation to award winning campsites, staying on the coast, in the heart of the countryside or in the buzz of the city, whatever your preference or budget, you’ll find something here to meet your needs.

Much of the accommodation outside of Swansea city centre caters for the needs of visitors taking part in the great outdoor activities the area has to offer – so just ask if you need overnight storage for surf boards or mountain bikes!

The area has one of the most popular National Trust properties in the UK. Situated about half way along the sweep of Rhossili Bay, with magnificent views of the beach and Worm's Head (voted the best place to see the sunset in UK), The Old Rectory gets booked up as soon as it becomes available, so you have to be quick off the mark to secure your spot.

Award winning Fairyhill Hotel, near Reynoldston, in the heart of the Gower Peninsula has been the hotel of choice for famous names like Paul Newman and Joanna Woodward – who visited when their son was marrying a local girl. Tony Blair also stayed here whilst Prime Minister.

Before Catherine Zeta Jones had a more permanent residence here, she and Michael Douglas used to stay at Morgans Hotel in Swansea’s Maritime Quarter….a popular choice with many other famous names visiting the area. Morgans, together with its sister hotel The Cawdor in Llandeilo, epitomize the best in redevelopment and refurbishment of beautiful old buildings and now offer a quality experience whether you’re staying, or just popping in for a drink or bite to eat.

The area is relatively compact, so wherever you choose to stay most attractions and activities will be within easy driving distance.

All accommodation on this and the following sites has been checked by Visit Wales and given a quality standard rating – so you’ll know in advance exactly what you should expect to find when you get here.
