A huge life-sized murder mystery game of Cluedo is set to take place in the centre of Swansea

Fancy dusting off your deer stalker and trench coat for the world’s biggest game of Cluedo?

A huge live version of the murder mystery game is coming to Swansea.

A company called Cluedupp are holding events all over the UK that involve multiple teams of up to 6 people racing against each other to solve the murder of a notorious nightclub owner.

On Saturday, January 6, 2018, ticket holders will be able to download the Cluedupp manhunt application on their devices where they will be given their very own murder case file to; solve clues, track down and eliminate witnesses, and eventually find out whodunnit.

The game is said to be exactly like Cluedo, but in real life.

The team behind Cluedupp will also be giving out prizes for; the fastest team, best fancy dress, best team photo and best team name on the day.

A spokesperson for Cluedupp said: “We’re bringing murder mystery events into the 21st century. Think Cluedo meets Pokémon Go

“We are still researching and building the route around Swansea, but it’s sure to capture all the sights the city has to offer.”

There have been over 20,000 players in events all across the UK so far, but this is the first of its kind to take place in Swansea.

If you fancy expanding your detective squad to include the whole family, children are allowed to come along for free, and the canine unit is also welcome.

Tickets at the moment are on sale for £35 for a team of up to 6 people. The full price is usually £42.
