Clean Air Roadshow

  • Location : Castle Square, The Mumbles, Swansea
  • More Info

Swansea Council, working in partnership with the private sector will host the Clean Air Roadshow from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 22nd April 2017 at Castle Square.

If your idea of an electric vehicle is an old milk float, think again…

We’ve come a long way since those days; the BMW i8 can do 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds and it looks pretty cool too. Don’t believe us? Come and see for yourself.

Take the opportunity to sit behind a wheel of the future and experience the technology built in to these beautiful machines first hand. You can also pre-book a test-drive to truly immerse yourself in their power and performance – so that’s mum sorted!

Models on show will include everything from the exhilarating BMW i8 to Tesla’s practical 7-seater Model X – along with vehicles from Sinclair, Mitsubishi, My Big Green Fleet and many more! No matter what type of low carbon vehicle you are interested in, there will be something for you.

As well as these, the Hydrogen powered Riversimple Rasa and Toyota Mirai, will be on display, showing us what could be the future of motoring.

There’s plenty on offer for the whole family, with trade stands, workshops and activities, radio presenters from the Wave FM and more!

The City and County of Swansea are also excited to announce that we will be in the presence of a VERY special guest on the day, that we’re sure the kids will love:

TITAN the world-famous friendly giant will be performing at 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm so be sure to come along to the Clean Air Roadshow for the chance to watch him in action!

Cars have played an integral part in forming our British culture, and the Clean Air Roadshow will celebrate our electrical technology achievements since the days of Ernie and his milk float.

Did you know?

Carbon Dioxide emissions from cars make up over 20% of the world’s total CO2 level.

Now is the time to change the world, one car at a time.
