NPTC Group, formerly known as Neath Port Talbot College (NPTC) and Coleg Powys will have a combined turnover of approximately £53 million and service more than 270,000 residents across communities from South to North Wales.
Neath Port Talbot College is the only Further Education provider in the Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council area. Established in 1931, NPTC is a dynamic College which has a long and proud history of providing excellent education opportunities for young people and adults from age 14 upwards.
Operating across eight sites in the area, the College supports more than 12,000 students and is continually developing and improving the way it works in order to give its students the best chance to excel in their chosen area of study.
Offering full-time and part-time courses, as well as a range of work based learning pathways, NPTC has very high aspirations for all of its students and has built its reputation on outstanding results year after year.
For the seventh year in succession, the overall pass rate exceeded 99 per cent (99.5 per cent). In 41 subjects out of the 46 offered, students achieved a remarkable 100 per cent pass rate.
The pass rate at grades A* to B is 55.8 per cent whilst A* to C stands at 82.6 per cent. (2012)
